When I visited Judy Tavill’s studio she had just moved in to a new studio space and was hearing up for a diverse group of shows. I had to double check the settings on the photos I took during my visit to make sure I had not mistakenly used the black and white setting. In person her ceramics are fleshy and the detail marks on the surface add a new dimension to the work.
